First Citizens is proud to offer the Visa payWave feature on our Visa Platinum and Visa Platinum BankMiles cards. Easier than cash, more convenient than swiping and signing, Visa payWave is perfect for completing small, everyday purchases quickly and easily. To pay, you simply wave your card with Visa payWave in front of the secure reader.
Visa payWave can be used anywhere merchants display this symbol 
on their secure readers at checkout. The card can also be used as a traditional Visa card anywhere Visa Credit Cards are accepted.
Security
Cards with Visa payWave offer the same security as all Visa cards, including Zero Liability for unauthorized purchases. And thanks to multiple layers of security, Visa payWave transactions are just as secure as magnetic-stripe transactions and are processed through the same reliable payment network.
