First Citizens Bancorporation, Inc. (“Bancorporation”) (OTCBB: FCBN), incorporated in South Carolina, is a two bank financial holding company headquartered in Columbia, South Carolina. Its primary subsidiaries are First Citizens Bank and Trust Company, Inc. (“First Citizens”) and The Exchange Bank of South Carolina, Inc. (“Exchange Bank”). Merchants and Farmers Bank of Comer, Georgia (“Merchants”) was merged into First Citizens on October 16, 2009. First Citizens offers services in commercial and retail banking through more than 190 offices throughout South Carolina and Georgia. Exchange Bank provides banking services through four branches in Williamsburg and Georgetown counties in South Carolina.
